About Us

BP Federal Credit union was founded on the notion of the original credit union in Germany in the 1800s - SPIRIT OF COOPERATION.  From our foundation in 1937, we have strived to provide our members with great rates, convenience services, and many other resources you look for in a financial institution.  We are run by a volunteer board of directors and, as a member, you have equal partnership in the credit union!

We are an independent financial institution which has been in existence for more than 70 years. The strength of credit unions has been proven since the 1800s and we are no exception to the rule.
