A new feature called Credit Sense powered by SavvyMoney, is now available to you on Online Banking through BP Federal Credit Union. Credit Sense is a free service offered to help you understand your current credit score, give access to your full credit report, provide credit monitoring alerts, show you how you can improve it, and see ways you can save money on new and existing loans with us.

Handling an Insurance Claim Check?

If you recently received your insurance claim check, you may wonder why it is made out to you & ‘BP Federal Credit Union’. You have people to pay, things to do - Don’t worry! After dealing with Harvey, BPFCU wants to help you get back to normal as soon as possible. When a policy holder makes a claim for damages, the insurance company will normally make the claim check out to both the insured and a lien holder. Since BP Federal Credit Union is the lien holder, we have a financial interest in ensuring your property is restored. Real Estate and Auto Loans may require an inspection.

You may have heard the news that Equifax recently had a large breach in its data collected from 143 million consumers. Based on the company’s investigation, the unauthorized access exploited a U.S. website application vulnerability to gain access to certain files. The breach occurred from mid-May through July, 2017.
