Board Nominations
BP Federal Credit Union’s 88th Annual Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 5 p.m. at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Houston West – Katy, 16435 Katy Freeway, Houston, 77094. There are three positions available on the Board of Directors, and each is a three-year term.
The credit union’s nominating committee has selected the following nominees:
Janiece Andrus
Janiece began her career with Amoco Production Company in West Texas with the Personnel & Office Administration group. She spent 42 years with Amoco and BP in a variety of Human Resource roles and retired from BP in April 2021. Janiece has been associated with credit unions since 1980, when she joined Amoco Credit Union located in Odessa, Texas. She has been a member of BP Federal Credit Union since 1988 and has served as a Director since 1989. Janiece is currently Board Chairman and has held that position since 2017. She is also on the Supervisory Committee.
April Inman
April joined Amoco in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1989 as a Staff Accountant and retired from BP as the Regional Vice President of Transportation and Operations- West Region in September 2020 after working for 32 years. April currently serves as the President of Katy Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and is one of the core members who was instrumental in the establishment of the chapter. She has been a member of BPFCU for over 31 years. April has served on the Board of Directors since 2013. She is a member of the ALCO Committee and is currently the Board Secretary.
Er’Ron Robinson
Er'Ron joined the Amoco Credit Union when she started her career in 1989. She has been a member of the credit union ever since. Er’Ron obtained her MBA in 1998 to gain experience that supported various financial roles within BP before retiring in 2018. Since that time, she has been an active community supporter and has served as an Advisory Board member of BPFCU since 2023. Er’Ron is nominated for her first 3-year Director term.
If you are interested in “nomination by petition” please provide a statement of qualifications, biographical data, and a petition of nomination signed by 1% of BPFCU members (a minimum of 75 members’ signatures) by January 10, 2025 to BP Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 941749, Houston, TX 77079; Attn: BOD Nominating Committee.
If the number of nominees equals the number of positions to be filled, per the credit union’s bylaws there will be no nominations from the floor and nominees will be elected by acclamation at the Annual Meeting. If the number of nominees exceeds the number of positions to be filled, the election will be conducted by ballot.
